On July 17, 2026, BumpIt was the target of coordinated interference from another bump bot. Specifically:

• Webhook URLs were created and used to send messages impersonating BumpIt, including unsolicited @everyone pings across multiple servers
• Bump commands were blocked in servers that also had BumpIt installed
• This caused significant disruption, revenue loss and understandably eroded trust in bump bots generally, including ours

We reported this behavior to Discord and the authorities as soon as we identified it. We believe the right outcome here is for the platforms to determine what happened, not for this to keep playing out as a public back-and-forth that mostly just hurts server owners caught in the middle.

After reflecting on the impact this has had, on trust, on our team, and on the community's experience, we've decided to close down BumpIt. All active paid subscriptions will be refunded in full; you don't need to request this, it will be processed automatically over the next couple of days. If you don't see it within that window, reach out by opening a support ticket.
