Bump Channel

The bump channel is where your server's bump advertisement is sent from. Other servers in the network will use this channel as the origin when delivering your ad.

Free tier

On the free tier, a bump channel is required. You must configure one before /bump will work.

The bump channel needs the following permissions for BumpIt!:

• View Channel
• Send Messages
• Embed Links

Premium

With an active Premium subscription, the bump channel requirement is removed — you can run /bump from any channel the bot has access to.

How to set it up

1. Open your server's dashboard
2. Select your server and go to Setup
3. Choose a channel from the Bump Channel dropdown
4. Click Save Changes

Tips

• Use a dedicated #bump-bot or #bump-here channel to keep things organized
• Make sure the channel is not restricted so BumpIt! can send messages in it
• You receive ads from other servers only if your bump channel is configured and active
