Discover Channel

Beta — This feature is in beta and behaviour may change.

The discover channel receives a curated feed of servers that match your server's categories. Instead of only seeing ads when someone bumps into you, your server passively receives recommendations from servers similar to yours.

How it works

When enabled, BumpIt! posts category-matched server ads to your discover channel automatically — up to once per hour. The servers shown are selected based on your configured tags.

How to set it up

1. Open your server's dashboard
2. Select your server and go to Setup
3. Choose a channel from the Discover Channel dropdown
4. Click Save Changes

Required permissions

BumpIt! needs the following in your discover channel:

• View Channel
• Send Messages
• Embed Links

Notes

• Max 1 post per hour
• Posts are automatically filtered by your server's tags — the closer your tags match other servers, the more relevant the feed
• You can use the same channel as your invite channel or a separate one
• To stop receiving the feed, remove the channel selection and save
