Required Permissions
BumpIt! needs the following permissions to function correctly. These are requested automatically when you use the invite link.

| View Channels | Read channel names and message history |
| Send Messages | Post bump ads and command responses |
| Embed Links | Send rich embeds for server ads |
| Use External Emojis | Display custom emojis in messages |
| Use External Stickers | Display stickers in messages |
| Add Reactions | React to messages |
| Read Message History | Access previous messages in channels |
| Manage Messages | Delete or edit bot messages when needed |
| Attach Files | Attach images to messages |
| Mention Everyone | Send announcements when configured |
| Use Slash Commands | Register and respond to slash commands |
| Send Messages in Threads | Interact in thread channels |
| Create Public Threads | Create thread responses |
If BumpIt! is missing any of these permissions, commands may fail silently or produce errors. If you run into issues, check that the bot role has all of the above permissions in your server settings.
Missing the Embed Links permission is the most common cause of bump failures. Make sure it's enabled in both the server settings and the specific bump channel.
