Ad Filters

Ad filters let you control which servers can advertise in your invite channel. Filters are category-based — you pick the categories you want to see, and only servers tagged with at least one matching category will be delivered to you.

How filters work

When a server bumps, BumpIt! checks your filter list before delivering their ad:

• Filters set — the bumping server's tags must overlap with at least one of your filters. No match = no delivery.
• No filters set — your invite channel receives ads from all servers regardless of category.

The same filter logic applies to your Discover Channel feed.

How to set them up

1. Open your server's dashboard
2. Select your server and go to Setup → Advanced
3. Select categories from the Ad Filters dropdown
4. Click Save Changes

Filters are also configurable during the setup wizard.

Available categories

Gaming, Anime, Art, Music, Education, Technology, Finance, Sports, Entertainment, Social, Roleplay, NSFW, Language, Lifestyle, Business, Community, Support, Other.

Choosing good filters

• Match your audience — a gaming community benefits from Gaming, Anime, Entertainment filters
• Avoid over-restricting — the more categories you exclude, the fewer ads you receive
• NSFW — if your NSFW toggle is off, NSFW ads are already excluded automatically regardless of filters

Notes

• Filters only control what you receive — they have no effect on who sees your server's bumps
• Removing all filters returns you to receiving all ads
• You can combine filters with the NSFW setting for additional control
